Standard Guy
Game-ready character · Blender → Unreal
I wanted one character I can reuse in every game project, so I stopped redoing a placeholder each time. He started as a long winter coat concept I designed in Blender with Claude, and then became a rigged mannequin wearing it. The body is a plain mannequin on purpose, so I can swap in a better one later and keep the clothes, the skin weights and the animations.
The rig uses Unreal mannequin bone names, so it should drop into Unreal projects without much fuss. He comes with idle, walk (also a root motion version), punch, hit reaction and death animations, exported as one FBX per clip. I have not tried him in Unreal yet, that is the next step. The animations are basic and the feet slide a little in the walk, but they work.
The coat is modular. The shell, a zip-in inner jacket, hood, fur ruffs, storm collar and a seal flap can all be switched on and off. The design came from a few coats I liked, the shape from a long tailored coat, and the collar and hood ideas from the Norwegian Rain Arctic Homme and the modular liner from the Krakatau Planck. Those are real products, only linked here as reference. I did not model them.
Update: he now has a face and hands. There is a male and a female version, both skinned to the same rig, so all the animations and the coat work on either one. The skin is dark brown like mine and the heads are a bit stylised on purpose, so he does not end up in the uncanny valley. Each one also got a small beanie, grey for him and pink for her. The hands have five fingers but no finger bones yet.

How the coat got here
Still to do on the coat: showing how the inner jacket attaches to the shell.

Made in Blender through the Blender MCP connection, same as the Stinger. The coat design and what I wanted from the character are mine, Claude wrote and ran the Blender scripts for the modelling, rig and animation. The two reference images above were generated with ChatGPT.
