Stinger (AI experiment)
AI script experimentation · Reference from Satisfactory
This was a weekly creature assignment in my first year: model the Stinger from Satisfactory. The legs and all the joints were way too much for me back then, so I stopped. My .blend file was literally just a cube :)
A year later I found the half finished file and used it to test AI tools. I connected Claude to Blender and let it script the whole thing from the Satisfactory reference images: the model, the materials, a simple rig and the crawl animation. The model took it about 10 minutes. It turned out way better than I expected, and a lot scarier xD
To be clear, the modelling here is not mine. It lives in my personal folder as an experiment in what these tools can do now. The creature design belongs to Coffee Stain Studios.

- Tools
- Blender 5.2, Python, Claude
- Reference

- AI draft

Made in Blender through the Blender MCP connection: Claude wrote and ran Python inside my Blender, looked at screenshots of the viewport and adjusted from there. No AI image or 3D generators were used, everything is regular Blender geometry.
